Singspire Chorus is a fun and happy way to immerse yourself in a variety of music genres in a social setting while learning something along the way.“
It is a pleasure to work with someone as experienced and passionate about music as Helen Owens.

SingSpire Chorus – a genuine inspiration and great fun. I enjoy every minute of our rehearsals and love singing in harmony with such a delightful group of people.

I love SingSpire Chorus because it gives me the opportunity to sing my heart out as I love singing, and to do so with others who love to sing. At first I thought it was rather daunting as someone might hear me! Now by being in the choir it has given me a lot more confidence. I have met a lot of new friends who I have found to be very caring and loving people. I also really appreciate learning how to breathe and shape our words for the best sounds and love learning different parts and going to "gigs".

Joining the choir was one of the best things that I have done .I have for years wanted to do it and am disappointed it took me so long to take the step ,and this is from somebody who cant sing!

After visiting for two weeks and knowing I was not expected to audition made all the difference ( being basically a shy person ) so I thought I would make an effort and do my best. A few months after I joined, the songs became familiar and I relaxed. Almost everyone were strangers as I had just moved to Nambour, but it wasn't long before I made some lovely friends. I love the choir .. everyone is so friendly, we respect and help each other and we all enjoy our rehearsal times. This choir has become an extended family and I love it. Our musical director is lovely, highly accomplished and accommodating. Will be two years in April since I joined and we have done some exciting gigs!

Choir is the highlight of my week. I love the music we sing, the members are so friendly and it is almost like a big family. I had never been in a choir and could not read music. I am now managing to follow the music by listening to the CDs which Helen makes for each part of the songs. So the knowledge of music is not a problem. We learn along the way.
